The ICC World Cup 2015 is knocking at the door. It will be one of the world’s largest international sports tournaments, with 14 competing teams and more than 400 accredited players and officials taking part in it. This 11th ICC World Cup Cricket is to be jointly hosted by Australia and New Zealand from 14 February to 29 March 2015.

 

VENUES:

Total 49 matches will be played in 14 venues where 7 venues in Australia and 7 venues in New Zealand.
Australia is staging 26 games at grounds in Adelaide, Brisbane, Canberra, Hobart, Melbourne, Perth and Sydney.
New Zealand is hosting 23 games in Auckland, Christchurch, Dunedin, Hamilton, Napier, Nelson and Wellington.

The final match of the tournament will take place at the Melbourne Cricket Ground.

TEAMS:

A total of 14 teams will take part in this tournament, divided into 2 pools: A and B.

It will comprise of 10 full member countries and 4 associate and affiliate member countries.
