WHO WILL WIN THIS TIME?
BANGLADESH: In 2012, the 11th Asia cup was also held in Bangladesh. Pakistan won that time by beating Bangladesh by only 2 runs. India & Sri Lanka was out in the semi-final stage. This time, Bangladesh is more powerful team with a strong batting line-up containing Shakib, Tamim, Mushfiqur, Nasir, Mominul and others. So, there is a great surprise waiting for all cricket fans. Who knows, they may win this trophy for the first time!
INDIA: India won 5 Asia Cup trophies out of 11. So, they are one of the favourites in this tournament. Moreover, their batting line-up is very strong with Kohli, Dhoni and others. Bowling and Fielding may be their weak points. The opponents should be careful about these.
PAKISTAN: Pakistan won this trophy 2 times. They are the current champions. So, they must be very hungry for being the champions again. They have some hard hitter batsmen and effective wicket taking bowlers who can be match winners in a few overs. So, they have a good chance this time.
SRI LANKA: Sri Lanka won 4 Asia Cups. So, they are also in the list. In the last season, they were out of the tournament in a very early stage, being defeated by the Bangladeshi Tigers. Now, they will try to win this tournament in a grand style to forget the past.
AFGHANISTAN: Afghanistan, a new team in world cricket also can be a dark horse in this tournament. As every team will play 4 matches with the other teams, win in 2 or perhaps 3 matches can push them into the finals also. So, nothing is impossible in this tournament.
